Bhubaneswar, Jan 6: The national-level Shishir Saras Fair 2026 will commence in the state capital from January 10. The fair will be organized at the Exhibition Ground and will continue till January 18. The fair will remain open to visitors every day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.

A total of 340 stalls will be set up at the fair this year. Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs), producer community and producer entrepreneurs from all 30 districts of the state will participate in the event. In addition, women SHGs and entrepreneurs from 20 different states will display and sell a wide range of handicrafts, handloom products, and traditional food and spice items.

Entrepreneurs from Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Assam, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and several other states will be part of the fair.

The fair will also feature 35 dedicated food stalls, while cultural programmes will be held every evening for visitors. Although the Shishir Saras Fair was not held last year, organizers have set a business target of ₹30 crore for this year’s edition.
