New Delhi, January 17: The arrangements for the Pran Pratistha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya are actively underway. The event is set to be a lavish affair, attracting dignitaries and individuals from various backgrounds.The seven-day rituals initiated with the designated host from the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra overseeing the atonement ceremony on Tuesday.
As a part of the Pratishtha Mahotsav scheduled for January 22, Anil Mishra undertook all the penance rituals at Sangopang on Tuesday, including a bath in the Saryu river and the performance of Panchgavyaprashan. Acharya Vedicpravar Laxmikant Dixit presided over the Havan ceremony, and the recital of Valmiki Ramayana and Bhusundiramayana commenced in the pavilion.
On Wednesday, January 17, post 1:20 pm, the program will feature Jalayatra, Teertha Puja, Brahmin-Batuk-Kumari-Suvasini Puja, Vardhini Puja, Kalshayatra, and a tour of the Lord Shri Ramlala idol in the Prasad premises.
The Trust has extended invitations to thousands of VIP guests for the ceremony and has made elaborate arrangements to welcome and honor them, offering gifts such as 'Ram Raj.' As part of the festivities, the Teerth Kshetra Trust will distribute special 'Motichoor laddus' made from desi ghee as 'Prasad' to the attendees.
The culmination of the rituals is set for January 22 with the pran-prathistha ceremony, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to preside over the ceremonial installation of Shri Ram Lalla.
