NEET PG 2025 Round 1 Result: MCC Announces Allotment, Reporting Begins Soon

The wait has ended for thousands of postgraduate medical aspirants across the country. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially declared the NEET PG 2025 Round 1 Result. Candidates who participated in this initial phase of counselling can now verify their selection status by visiting the central portal, mcc.nic.in.

Important Dates for Reporting

Following the processing of choices, which concluded on the afternoon of November 21, the allotment list is now public. If you have been assigned a seat in this round, immediate action is required. Selected candidates are scheduled to report to their respective medical colleges starting from November 23, 2025. The window for completing admission formalities will remain open until December 1, 2025. It is crucial to carry all original documents for verification during this period.

Changes in the Seat Matrix

This year's counselling process has seen significant adjustments regarding seat availability. In a move that benefits students, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has sanctioned the addition of 239 new postgraduate seats across various Deemed Universities.

However, aspirants should also note a reduction in other categories. Based on recent data from the National Board of Examinations (NBE), the committee has removed 235 PG DNB seats from the matrix. This reduction includes 49 seats in private institutions and a substantial 186 seats in government hospitals, altering the options available for DNB courses.
