Sambalpur, Dec 24: Odisha Vigilance officials have launched coordinated raids at four locations linked to Basudev Bhoi, a Senior Revenue Assistant working in the office of the Settlement Officer in Sambalpur. The searches are being conducted as part of an investigation into allegations that Bhoi possesses disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.

According to a statement released by the Odisha Vigilance Department, the locations being searched include:

· A double-story residential building in Bargarh

· A property in Charbhati, Sambalpur

· His parental home in Bargarh

· His office in Sambalpur

The search operation is being led by two Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) and eight inspectors, all carrying out the raids under search warrants authorized by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur.

The raids are currently underway, and further details are expected once the searches are completed.
