Nayagarh, Oct 21: Odisha Vigilance officials on Monday caught a police SI red-handed while he was receiving bribe from a liquor vendor.

The accused has been indentified as SK Rahman, SI of Khandapada Police Station in the Nayagarh district.

Vigilance sources said, SI Rahman was receiving a bribe worth Rs 3000 from a liquor businessman while he was intercepted.

The bribe money was seized from his possession and the SI was detained for further investigation, said a Vigilance official.
