Bhubaneswar, Feb 24: The Hindi and Sanskrit examinations of the Matric board have concluded without any reports of malpractice. The Board informed that no candidate has been booked or marked (MP) on charges of copying during the examinations.

Following the completion of Odia, English, Hindi and Sanskrit papers, preparations are underway to collect answer scripts from all 322 nodal centres across the state starting Tuesday. The Board has directed that the answer sheets and OMR sheets be transported to the valuation centres within one to two days under tight police security.

The evaluation of Matric answer sheets will commence from March 19 and is scheduled to be completed by April 2.

For the evaluation process, 50 valuation centres have been set up across 30 districts for Matric, State Open School Certificate (SOSC) and Sanskrit Madhyama examinations. Of these, 47 high schools have been designated for Matric evaluation, two centres for SOSC and one centre for Madhyama.

To ensure transparency, the Board has confidentially deployed teams to decide the allocation of answer scripts from nodal centres to specific valuation centres.

Examiners and teachers assigned to the evaluation work will report at their respective centres from March 18. Each teacher will assess 25 to 30 answer scripts per day. More than 12,000 teachers have been engaged in the evaluation process. Additionally, four data entry operators will be appointed at each centre at the district level. A Chief Examiner, two Deputy Chief Examiners and two scrutinizers have also been deployed to oversee the process.
