Bhubaneswar, May 10: The Janpath in Odisha’s Capital City Bhubaneswar witnessed a sea of crowd in the evening on Friday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi appeared in a mega road show ahead of the simultaneous election.
The PM, after arriving at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar at about 8 PM, was escorted to the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) office at the Ram Mandir square amid a beefed ring of security. Following this, the state BJP leaderships with thousands of ground workers took out a rally towards the Vani Vihar Square wherein the PM appeared in an open vehicle. All along the embark the PM was seen greeting the people with flagging the party insignia, the lotus and waving out his hands with ecstasy.
Among security officers, BJP state President Manmohan Samal and BJP candidate from the Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha Constituency Aparajita Sarangi accompanied the PM during the road show.
Worth mentioning, the PM is scheduled to chair a meeting at the BJP state headquarters office after a public meeting. Following night halt at the Raj Bhawan, he will be leaving for Kandhamal, Balangir and Bargarh to hit the campaign trail for the BJP nominees.
