Bhubaneswar, May 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming roadshow in Bhubaneswar is expected to see a gathering of over 2 lakh BJP workers and supporters. The route, spanning 2.5 km from the BJP headquarters to Vani Vihar Square, will greet the Prime Minister.
This marks PM Modi's second election campaign in Odisha.
A formidable security contingent comprising 55 platoons of force and three platoons of anti-terror personnel will be deployed . Additionally, a vigilant team consisting of five DCPs, 10 additional DCPs, 27 ACPs, and 41 IICs will closely monitor the proceedings.
In light of the roadshow, the Commissionerate Police has announced traffic restrictions along the designated route. From 2 pm onwards, vehicular movement will be prohibited on Janpath, extending from Master Canteen Square to Vani Vihar Square Similarly, from 4 pm onwards, vehicles will be barred from Janpath between Vani Vihar Square and Master Canteen Square. Access from adjacent lanes and bylanes to Janpath will also be restricted for the duration of the event.
These measures aim to facilitate a smooth and orderly conduct of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow while ensuring the safety and security of all participants and spectators.
