Bhubaneswar, Feb 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated is likely to visit Odisha in the initial week of March to inaugurate several key Central projects, as announced by Lata Usendi, the co-incharge of BJP for Odisha.
On March 5, PM Modi is scheduled to address a public gathering in Chandikhol, Jajpur district, where he will also lay the foundation stones for various developmental initiatives.
Among the projects slated for launch is the long-awaited strategic petroleum reserve (SPR) at Dankari near Chandikhol, a project sanctioned in 2016 but hindered by delays in land acquisition. This visit follows the prime minister's recent trip to the state on February 3, during which he inaugurated the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management in Sambalpur and initiated projects valued at around Rs 70,000 crore.
Additionally, Modi flagged off the Puri-Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express during his previous visit.
