Varanasi, June 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi on June 18, where he will address a farmers' conference, marking his first visit to the city after the formation of the third consecutive NDA government at the Centre.
Dilip Patel, BJP Kashi region president, confirmed the Prime Minister's itinerary, highlighting the significance of this visit for the region. Navratan Rathi, the BJP media in-charge for the Kashi region, mentioned that efforts are underway to finalize a venue for the farmers' conference, with options including Rohania or Sevapuri Assembly constituency.
In anticipation of the Prime Minister's visit, a meeting of Varanasi BJP office-bearers was convened at the party office in Gulab Bagh to strategize and coordinate preparations.
Following the farmers' conference, Prime Minister Modi is expected to pay homage at Baba Kashi Vishwanath and participate in the Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat, reinforcing the spiritual connection between the city and its revered landmarks.
