New Delhi, June 30: After a hiatus of over four months, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday resumed his monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
This was his inaugural 'Mann Ki Baat' following his re-election for a third consecutive term as Prime Minister.
"Delighted to connect with people through Mann Ki Baat once again..." wrote PM Modi on his official ‘X’ handle.
PM Modi paid homage to the martyrs of the Santhal Rebellion on Hul Diwas, noting that Sidho and Kanho initiated a movement against the British in 1855, two years before 1857.
Earlier, PM Modi had urged people on social media to share their ideas and inputs for the broadcast.
The monthly broadcast was halted due to the general elections and the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct (MCC). PM Modi's previous 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcast aired on February 25, before the election schedule was announced.
