New Delhi, Sep 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the US on Saturday for the Quad Summit 2024.
The annual summit is set to be held in Wilmington.
During his US visit, the PM will hold bilateral talks with US President Joe Biden.
The Quad, a diplomatic alliance consisting of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States, is committed to fostering an open, stable, and prosperous Indo-Pacific.
Before his departure, the PM said, “I look forward joining my colleagues President Biden, Prime Minister Albanese and Prime Minister Kishida for the Quad Summit. The forum has emerged as a key group of the like-minded countries to work for peace, progress and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.”
“My meeting with President Biden will allow us to review and identify new pathways to further deepen India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership for the benefit of our people and the global good,” he further said.
