Dhenkanal, Nov 26: On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a grand Unity March was held in Dhenkanal. The event was inaugurated at local Mini Stadium by Odisha’s Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister, Krushna Chandra Patra, who graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Patra emphasized the importance of unity for the strength and integrity of India. He stated that for the nation to remain strong and powerful, it is essential for every individual to come together, fostering unity among all. The Minister urged the crowd to follow Sardar Patel's vision of a unified India, noting that only through collective harmony could the country ensure its enduring strength.

Following the inaugural ceremony, a large and colorful procession began from the Mini Stadium, traversing through the streets of Dhenkanal city. The procession was attended by intellectuals, members of various organizations, and students from local schools, all participating in the celebration of unity and patriotism.

The Unity March was a heartfelt tribute to the "Iron Man of India," who played a pivotal role in the unification of the country post-independence.
