PM Modi arrives in Bhubaneswar, attends review meeting at BJP office

Bhubaneswar, May 19:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a two-day visit to Odisha starting from today as part of his election campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates.

Upon his arrival on Sunday evening at Biju Patnaik airport at Bhubaneswar, party leaders and workers accorded a rousing welcome to PM Modi.

PM Modi straightway proceeded to BJP state party office and attended a meeting with senior party leaders there; PM Modi will review the preparedness of election and devise strategy for party’s winning in the state.

After the meeting at party headquarters, PM Modi will make a night halt at Raj Bhawan . 

On the following day, on May 20 at 7AM, PM Modi will leave for Shree Khetra Puri and first he is slated to visit the revered Jagannath Temple and have a darshan of Lord Jagannath. After paying obeisance to the Trinity, the prime minister will hold a roadshow from Singhadwar to Medical Chhak from 7.30 am.

Additionally, PM Modi will address election rallies at Nalco Stadium, Angul and seek blessing for party candidates. 

Then, PM Modi will return to Cuttack and attend a party meeting at Baliyaytra ground. 

BJP has prepared massive arrangements there wherein PM Modi will campaign for party MLA and MP candidates of coastal Odisha. 

 This visit marks Modi’s third trip to Odisha during the ongoing Lok Sabha and state assembly polls.
