Bhubaneswar: Team Odisha played their first match of the Junior Girls’ National Football Championship 2025–26 with a narrow 0–1 defeat to Bihar in their opening group-stage match held on Friday in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.

After the barren first-half, Bihar skipper Anshu Kumar scored the all-important goal in the 60th minute and the team scripted a 1-0 win against Odisha.

Team Odisha will play its next match against West Bengal on 30th November 2025 at RDT Stadium, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
