Subarnapur, Dec 24: A tragic incident was reported from Rugudipali village under Birmaharajpur police station in Subarnapur district, where a young man lost his life after a wall collapsed on him.

The deceased has been identified as Shashank Mishra, a resident of Rugudipali village. According to sources, the incident occurred at night when Shashank stepped outside his house to urinate. During that time, a partially damaged wall suddenly collapsed, trapping him underneath.

Family members rushed to the spot and immediately rescued him before shifting him to the District Headquarters Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Shashank Mishra was a well-known young businessman in the area. His untimely death has cast a pall of gloom over the village, with residents expressing shock and grief over the incident.
