Paris Paralympics: Modi congratulates Preeti Pal on winning Bronze medal

Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Indian athlete, Preeti Pal on winning Bronze medal in the 100m T35 event at Paris Paralympics 2024.

The Prime Minister posted on X, “More glory for India as Preeti Pal wins a Bronze medal in the 100m T35 event at the #Paralympics2024. Congratulations to her. This success will certainly motivate budding athletes. #Cheer4Bharat.”

The 23-year-old Preethi’s bronze is India’s first medal from para-athletics in the Paris Paralympics. 

China’s Zhou Xia (13.58) and Guo Qianqian (13.74) won the gold and silver respectively.
