Paris Olympics: Shooters Manu, Sarabjot enter medal round

Paris, July 29:  Young Indian shooter Manu Bhaker, who won the first medal for India in the Olympic Games 2024 on Sunday, qualified for another medal round on Monday.

After winning a Bronze medal a day before, Manu now has another chance to win another Paris Games Bronze medal.

On Monday, Manu Bhaker qualified for the Bronze medal match in the 10m Air Pistol mixed team event, with teammate Sarabjot Singh.

The Indian shooting pair finished third in the event, accumulating a total of 580 points with 20 perfect shots. They will now compete against the Korean pair of Xue Li and Wonho Lee (who finished 4th with 579 points and 18 perfect shots) in the bronze medal match on Tuesday.

The second Indian team participating in the event, comprising Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema, was eliminated after finishing at the 10th position with 576 points and 14 perfect shots, revealed reports.
