Paris, July 30: Organisers of Paris Olympics 2024 on Monday revealed that there were complains about food and transportation by several delegations. But those logistical issues have been shorted out, they claimed.
Earlier, several delegations including some from India, have stated their unhappiness regarding food and transportation challenges. Some Indian athletes reportedly relied on local South Asian restaurants for food. Some even tried to make other alternative arrangements, revealed sources.
A section of media even quoted pistol coach Jaspal Rana, who revealed that he took matters in his own hands. He purchased grocery from a local store and cooked food at his apartment, where he is staying near the City Centre, reports stated.
But with organisers clarifying that the logistical problems including food and transportation being taken care of, hopefully the sportspersons and their support staff can now focus better in their own sporting activities
