Paris, July 30: In the first three days of Paris Olympics 2024, Indian contingent has managed a solitary medal, with shooter Manu Bhaker clinching a Bronze.
But the medal hopes have been kept alive in shooting and some other sports as well. Even Manu Bhaker will have another opportunity to have a podium finish again.
On Tuesday. the Day 4 of the Paris Games, all eyes of the Indian fans will be on the 10m air pistol mixed team bronze medal match where the pair of Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh. Manu and Sarabjot will face South Korean shooters.
But there is more hope from the shooting range. Trap shooter Prithviraj Tondaiman will have a shot at medal, if he can qualify for the final.
Badminton medal aspirants Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will face Alfian Fajar and Muhammad Rian Ardianto (Indonesia) in the men's doubles. Ranked No 3, the young Indian players have been phenomenal in recent times and are believed to have a podium finish in Paris Games.
Similarly, with a 3-2 win over New Zealand and 1-1 draw against Argentina, Indian men's hockey team will take on Ireland.
But at is not all. Three top Indian boxers - Amit Panghal, Jaismine Lamboria and Preeti Pawar will be in action as well on Tuesday.
