Patna, October 28: Pappu Yadav, an Independent MP from Bihar, has requested enhanced security from 'Y' to 'Z' category following alleged death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

 In an email to the Home Ministry, the six-time MP included a recording of the threat, where the caller warns Yadav's personal assistant, urging the Purnia MP to "think before he speaks" in reference to his recent comments on the gang.

Yadav, known formally as Rajesh Ranjan, has previously made bold remarks about the gang, stating he could dismantle it within 24 hours if permitted.
