Sundargarh, August 21: A 3-kilogram pangolin was safely rescued from Aunla Jor village, located in the block headquarters of Sundargarh district.
According to reports, the pangolin became trapped last night in a net tied to a wall near the residence of local resident Digambar Sank. Early this morning, Digambar noticed the animal and alerted the forest department with assistance from fellow villagers.
Forest department officials promptly arrived at the scene and successfully rescued the pangolin, ensuring its safe release back into the wild.
