Pandian visits Maa Barunei Temple and Kapileswar Temple

Bhubaneswar, March 14: As per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chairman 5T and Nabin Odisha Kartik Pandian visited two important temples of Khordha district in the early hours today. 

 Pandian reviewed the progress of development of Maa Barunei Temple at Khordha.He discussed with Secretary, Works Department and Collector regarding further development of pilgrim amenities. 

 He later visited Kapileshwar Temple in Bhubaneswar and reviewed the development aspects of the temple. He assured the temple management committee, sebayats and devotees and that holistic development of the temple would be taken up soon, in consultation with ASI. He asked Collector to discuss in detail with the temple committee and Sevayats and prepare a master plan for the development of the temple and surrounding areas. 

He discussed with the Secretary Works regarding the 2 km long road project from NH 16 (Near Gangua Nala) to Kapileswar Temple. This road is being constructed at a total cost of Rs 50 crore including Rs 30 crore for land acquisition. He directed the Collector to expedite the land acquisition process.
