Bhubaneswar, March 7: Speculations on BJD-BJP ally in Odisha, ahead of the General Election-2024 seem more pungent as 5T Chairman VK Pandian and Organisational Secretary of Biju Janata Dal(BJD) Pranab Prakash Das left for New – Delhi on Thursday evening all of a sudden.
Pandian and Das reportedly flew in a charter flight to New Delhi as per the direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, said sources.
According to some eminent political analysts, 5T chairperson VK Pandian and BJD organizational secretary Pranab Prakash Das might have left for the National Capital to hold discussions with the BJP on behalf of the ruling BJD. Their Delhi visit has strengthened the possibility of the talks between the two parties which are believed to be going on informally.
They are likely to carry forward the talks on the said alliance and seat-sharing equations with the top leadership of the BJP in view of the ensuing general election, presumed the political pundits.
