Bbubaneswar, Jan 16: Owing to the aspirants’ inconvenience due to technical glitches, the deadline of application for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examinations has been extended for 10 days.
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on Friday issued fresh & revised notification in this connection.
According to the new notification, the deadline for online registration and submission of examination fees, scheduled for 18th January 2026, has been extended to 28th January 2026.
Similarly, the final date for submitting the online application form, which was earlier 21st January 2026, has been extended till 31st January 2026.
With technical glitches on the application portal during registration and submission of application fees, Common Graduate Level (CGL) aspirants had demanded for a deadline extension.
They had urged the CM and the Chief Secretary to announce revised schedule with extended deadline on online application for the CGL recruitment, notified recently.
Aspirants applying for Group B and Group C posts under the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission’s (OSSSC) Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination (CGLRE-2025) had also appealed to Chief Secretary Anu Garg, seeking more time to apply, for the post as technical problems during application.
As per the OSSSC notification, online registration for the CGL examination against 1,576 vacancies began on December 19, 2025.
