Gurugram, Aug 17: Three masked men opened fire outside the house of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Haryana’s Gurugram on Sunday.
As per reports, assailants fired more than two dozen rounds at the YouTuber’s residence at around 5.30 am in Sector 57 before fleeing from the scene.
Gurugram Police PRO Sandeep Kumar said that over a dozen rounds were fired, adding that Elvish Yadav was not at home when the shooting occurred.
Yadav's father claimed that three miscreants fired around 25 to 30 rounds at their residence in Gurugram. He mentioned that he was asleep when the incident occurred. "The police administration is doing its job well. We believe the police are working properly," he told.
Yadav lives on the second and third floors of the building. His caretaker and some family members were present during the incident, but no one was hurt.
Upon getting the information, police arrived quickly, collected forensic evidence, and started looking at CCTV footage from the area.
Officials said they will begin legal proceedings and conduct a detailed investigation once the family files a formal complaint.
Police have stated that an investigation is underway.
