Bhubaneswar, April 23: Forest officials at Odisha’s Similipal National Park have begun an investigation to trace the origin and movements of a male tiger believed to have migrated from outside the state.

The tiger was sighted during a routine patrol, and early estimates suggest it may have traveled approximately 1,500 kilometers from the Tadoba Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra.

However, authorities have yet to verify the exact origin of the tiger and the circumstances surrounding its arrival in Similipal.
