Bhubaneswar, Feb 23: An Ama Bus was vandalised and set on fire in Bhubaneswar on Monday after it tossed a bicyclist.

The incident took place near the Palasapalli over-bridge in this evening leaving the cyclist critical.

According to report, a man was moving towards the Forest Park riding his bicycle. Meanwhile, an Ama Bus tossed him from the back. As a result, the commuter sustained injuries in his body. He was immediately rescued by locals and rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Following the accident, irate locals gathered at the spot and vandalised the bus and set the bus on flame. However, police rushed to the spot immediately and attempted to pacify the mob.
