​​​​​Jeypore, Sept 14:  An Ornate Flying Snake was found inside a resident’s bathroom in Goudasahi.

According to reports, the Wild Animal Rescue Team for Environmental Awareness & Management (WARTEAM), led by founder Krushna Keshab Shadangi, responded to a distress call about the reptile’s presence. Shadangi, accompanied by his associate Chandan Bhimidi, reached the spot and successfully identified and rescued the non-venomous snake.

Following the rescue, the snake was released into a safe natural habitat under the supervision of senior officials from the Jeypore Forest Division.

The swift action by WARTEAM not only ensured the safety of the residents but also protected the rare species, which plays an important role in maintaining ecological balance.
