Bhubaneswar, Jan 2: The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially announced openings for the positions of Veterinary Assistant Surgeons/Additional Veterinary Assistant Surgeons. The application process is scheduled to initiate on January 25, and prospective candidates are encouraged to submit their applications online through the official website at www.opsc.gov.in.
The deadline for the submission of the application forms is set for February 26. Age limit: Candidates applying for the position must have an age falling within the range of 21 to 38 years as of January 1, 2023.
Educational Qualification: Aspiring candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc and A.H) or an equivalent degree from a recognized University, College, or Institution, either in India or abroad.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be determined through a written examination. The examination will be graded out of a total of 800 marks. The duration of the examination is set at two hours and thirty minutes. It will consist of two papers, namely Paper I and Paper II, comprising 200 questions and carrying a total of 400 marks.
