Discover sportier aesthetics and advanced safety in Honda's newest SUV.

Bhubaneswar: Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has signaled a major expansion phase for the Indian automotive market, unveiling an ambitious growth plan that includes 10 new model launches by the year 2030. Central to this roadmap is a heavy focus on the SUV segment, which will account for seven of these upcoming releases. To kickstart this renewed energy, the company has officially introduced the Honda Elevate ADV Edition in Bhubaneswar, targeting a younger generation of drivers who seek a blend of style and performance.

A Glimpse into the Future: The Honda 0 Alpha

India is set to play a pivotal role in Honda's global electric vehicle strategy. The company confirmed that the Honda 0 α (Alpha), a prototype first seen at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, will be its debut Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) for the Indian market. Scheduled for a launch in the latter half of FY’26–27, this model will be manufactured locally. Proving India's status as a manufacturing hub, the Honda 0 α will also be exported to various international markets.

The New Honda Elevate ADV Edition: What’s New?

The Honda Elevate ADV Edition serves as the new flagship grade for the popular SUV line-up. It has been reimagined with a "BOLD.MOVE" philosophy, focusing on a more aggressive exterior and a high-energy cabin.

Exterior Highlights: "Alpha-Bold Plus" front grille finished in glossy black with a matching surround. Unique hood decals featuring vibrant orange accents for a striking road presence. Blacked-out aesthetics for the roof rails, shark fin antenna, door handles, and wing mirrors.

Interior Upgrades: An all-black cabin theme contrasted with bold orange stitching and trim. Premium black seats featuring embossed "ADV" logos on both the front and rear. Energetic orange highlights on the gear knob, AC controls, and door panels.

Performance and Cutting-Edge Safety

Under the hood, the Honda Elevate ADV Edition retains the reliable 1.5L i-VTEC petrol engine. Drivers can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed CVT automatic transmission, the latter featuring paddle shifters for a more engaged driving experience.

Safety remains a cornerstone of the Honda brand. This edition comes equipped with Honda SENSING, an advanced suite of ADAS technologies. These include: Collision Mitigation Braking System: Adaptive Cruise Control: Lane Keep Assist and Road Departure Mitigation

Market Presence in Odisha

During the launch, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing and Sales at HCIL, emphasized the importance of the Odisha market. He noted that Bhubaneswar continues to be a vital hub for growth, supported by a loyal customer base that appreciates premium mobility. Models like the City, Amaze, and the standard Elevate have already seen consistent success across the state.
