Online ticket sale for India-West Indies ODI match to start today; will close on December 15

Cuttack, 5/12: The online ticket sale for the India-West India one day cricket match scheduled to be played at Barabati Stadium here on December 22 will start from today, said host Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). The online ticket sale will be open for 8,150 seats and will end on December 15. {"id":21523,"sizeSlug":"large"} Three thousand tickets each will be up for sale online for Gallery No 2 and 4, 1500 for Gallery No 6, 50 for New Pavilion, 500 for Special Enclosure and 100 tickets for air-conditioned box gallery. Desirous persons can book tickets through www.paytm.com and www.insider.in. The viewers who purchase online ticket can obtain their ticket from Cambridge School counter on Decembe 19, 20 and 21. The ticket price for Gallery No 2 and 4 has been pegged at Rs 500 each. Similarly, the ticket rate for Gallery No 6 has been fixed at Rs 400, while the New Pavilion ticket and air-conditioned box gallery ticket will cost Rs 5,000 and Special Enclosure ticket-Rs 3,000. Eighteen percent goods and service tax (GST) will be levied on each ticket. OCA and police sources said that adequate precautionary measures have been taken to prevent ticket black marketing. Police has kept close vigil on the ticket sale, be it online or offline. Large scale irregularities had been alleged during the online ticket sale for the India-Sri Lanka ODI match, played in the Barabati Stadium here last year.
