Gajapati, Feb 3: At least 10 people were injured in a violent group clash in Chandiput village, located under Mohana Police Station limits in Odisha's Gajapati district, late last night. The clash broke out when hundreds of people from one group, armed with sticks and sharp weapons, allegedly began terrorizing locals at Chandiput Bazaar.

Reports indicate that a man and his mother sustained critical injuries in the attack. The situation escalated when some locals confronted the attackers, leading to a full-fledged group clash.

Over 10 individuals were injured during the violent confrontation, and all have been admitted to Chandragiri and Mohana hospitals for medical treatment.

The entire incident was captured on CCTV footage, which is now in the possession of the authorities. Police forces have been deployed to the village, and the situation is being closely monitored as tensions remain high in the area.
