Bhubaneswar, May 27: The Higher Education Department of Odisha has announced the schedule for undergraduate admissions for the new academic session. Online applications for admission into undergraduate courses began on Wednesday and will continue until 11:45 PM on June 10 through the SAMS portal.

According to the official notification, the first selection merit list will be published on June 17. Students selected in the first phase can complete their admission process between June 17 and June 20 by choosing options such as Slide, Freeze, or Float and submitting the admission fees online. The first phase of admissions will be conducted from June 18 to June 20.

Colleges and universities have been directed to upload the admission details of selected students on the SAMS portal by 9 PM on June 20. Classes for the new academic session will commence from July 9.

The second selection merit list will be released on June 29. Students selected in the second phase can make online fee payments between June 29 and July 4, while admissions at the allotted institutions will take place from June 30 to July 4.

For vacant seats, students can apply for waiting list or spot admissions between July 8 and July 10. Selected candidates under this phase will complete admissions on July 17. Institutions will upload the final admission data on the SAMS portal between July 18 and July 20.
