Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: At least one person was killed and two others sustained critical injuries after the car they were travelling in hit a bus at Chandrasekharpur area in Bhubaneswar today.
The identities of the victims are yet to be known.
As per reports, the driver of the car lost control over the wheels and crashed against a median before hitting a bus on the other side of the road.
The collision was so aghast that the car was mangled under its impact.
On getting the information, police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured persons. They were later hospitalized for treatment. The cops also seized the body of the deceased person for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the matter is underway, said the police.
