Sahibzada Farhan hits unbeaten hundred to crush Namibian hopes

Pakistan booked their ticket to the Super Eight stage of the tournament with a crushing 102-run victory over Namibia in Colombo. This massive win completely ended any hopes the USA had of advancing further in the tournament.

Sahibzada Farhan was the undisputed star of the Pakistan vs Namibia T20 World Cup match. He smashed a brilliant, unbeaten century to calm his team's early nerves. Farhan scored exactly 100 runs off just 58 balls, hitting 11 boundaries and four massive sixes. His late acceleration was incredible, as he scored his second fifty from a mere 20 deliveries. Impressively, his individual score was higher than the entire Namibian team total.

Pakistan needed a strong win to safely secure their Super Eight spot. They posted a daunting total of 199 for 3. Salman Agha provided crucial support with a quick 38 from 23 balls. Shadab Khan was promoted up the batting order and helped push the run rate higher in the final overs alongside Farhan.

Chasing 200, Namibia started with aggressive intent during the powerplay. Louren Steenkamp looked dangerous early on, scoring a quick 23. However, the Pakistani spin bowlers soon took complete control of the game.

Mohammad Nawaz started the collapse by taking a crucial wicket and slowing down the run rate. Then, the magic of Usman Tariq spin completely destroyed the lower order. Tariq bowled brilliantly to claim his career-best figures of 4 for 16. His tricky deliveries were simply too difficult for the batters to read. Shadab Khan also delivered a stellar all-round performance, taking 3 wickets for just 19 runs and grabbing two spectacular catches.

Namibia completely collapsed under the pressure and were bowled out for just 97 runs. This outstanding team effort gives Pakistan huge momentum as they march forward, bringing exciting T20 World Cup updates for Odisha cricket fans following the action.
