Bhubaneswar; Odisha skipper’s Phula Soren’s unbeaten 43 runs guided the team into the semi-finals of the 6th Women’s National T20 for blind cricket here at Hitech Medical College ground on Tuesday.

In the quarterfinal match, winning the toss Odisha elected to bat first and scored 177 runs for 3 wickets in the 20 overs. Opener Sukanti  Dalapati smashed 44-ball 63 runs, while the skipper remained unbeaten till the end with 43 runs and the team total reached 177.

In reply, Odisha’s disciplined bowling never gave a chance to Rajasthan batter to settle down, they lost wickets in regular intervals and gathered 116 runs by losing nine wickets in 20 overs.  Odisha defeated Rajasthan by 61 runs and entered the semi-finals. They will face Karnataka in the semifinal on Wednesday. ​​​​​​​
