Bhubaneswar, Nov 13: Trishna Ray, a 19-year-old fashion technology student from KIIT University, has made history by winning the Miss Teen Universe 2024 title at the global competition held in Kimberley, South Africa, from November 1 to 9.
Representing India, Ray triumphed over strong contenders from countries like Peru, Brazil, and the Netherlands. Peru’s Anne Thorsen and Namibia’s Precious Andre secured the first and second runner-up positions.
Despite setbacks in earlier international events due to visa issues, Ray’s dedication and talent earned her the prestigious crown. Her victory has garnered widespread praise, with Odisha’s former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Ray had previously won the Miss Teen Universe India title in April 2023.
