Bhubaneswar, Sept 1: In good news for animal lovers, Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP) on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar has welcomed two new guests- Golden-Handed Tamarin And Squirrel Monkeys.

The animals were brought from Hyderabad. One pair from each species has been added to the animal stock of the zoo. The animals will be kept in quarantine for one month following which they will be released into enclosures.
Sources said, the animals have been brought to the zoo as part of the animal acquisition program for pairing single-sexed animals and for new bloodline infusion.
