Bhubaneswar, April 17: Vigilance sleuths on Thursday arrested Rama Chandra Satpathy, Asst. Executive Engineer (AEE) of Athamallick Block in Angul district for possession of disproportionate assets( DA) and will be forwarded today to the Court.
Based on searches conducted on properties of Satpathy, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 1 double storeyed building, 22 high value plots, gold ornaments approx 350 gms, deposits over Rs.1.16 crore, cash Rs.23.95 lakhs (from son-in-law's house) etc, which he could not explain satisfactorily.
In this connection, Odisha Vigilance has registered case vide Cuttack Vigilance PS case No.10/2025 against Satpathy.
