Bhubaneswar, October 6:Train services in the Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) have been disrupted following a landslide between Maligura and Chhatariput stations.
As a safety measure and to facilitate restoration work on the affected section, several trains have been cancelled, while some services have been short-terminated or short-originated on specified dates.
Trains Cancelled
Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur–Rourkela Expresswill remain cancelled fromOctober 9 to 13, 2026.
The following trains will remain cancelled fromOctober 8 to 12, 2026:
- Train No. 18515 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Express
- Train No. 18516 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express
- Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express
Trains Short-Terminated/Short-Originated
- Train No. 18005 Howrah–Jagdalpur Express: Services originating from Howrah from October 8 to 12will be short-terminated atKoraput. The Koraput–Jagdalpur section will remain cancelled.
- Train No. 18006 Jagdalpur–Howrah Express: Services scheduled to originate from Jagdalpur from October 10 to 14will instead originate fromKoraput. The Jagdalpur–Koraput section will remain cancelled.
- Train No. 18447 Bhubaneswar–Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express: Services originating from Bhubaneswar fromOctober 8 to 12will be short-terminated atKoraput. The Koraput–Jagdalpur section will remain cancelled.
- Train No. 18448 Jagdalpur–Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express:Services scheduled to originate from Jagdalpur fromOctober 9 to 13will instead originate fromKoraput. The Jagdalpur–Koraput section will remain cancelled.
- Train No. 58501 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Passenger:Services originating from Visakhapatnam fromOctober 8 to 12will be short-terminated atKoraput. The Koraput–Jagdalpur section will remain cancelled.
- Train No. 58502 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Passenger:Services scheduled to originate from Kirandul fromOctober 8 to 12will instead originate fromKoraput. The Jagdalpur–Koraput section will remain cancelled.
Passengers have been advised to check the status of their trains before starting their journey and plan their travel accordingly in view of the disruption.
