Bhubaneswar, October 3: Train services in the Rayagada Division of East Coast Railway (ECoR) have been cancelled, short-terminated or short-originated following a landslide between Maligura and Chhatariput stations.
The measures have been taken as a safety precaution and to facilitate restoration and clearance work in the affected section. Passengers travelling on the route have been advised to check the status of their trains before commencing their journey and plan their travel accordingly.
Trains Cancelled
Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur–Rourkela Express will remain cancelled from October 4 to 8, 2026.
Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express will remain cancelled from October 3 to 7, 2026.
The following trains will remain cancelled from October 4 to 7, 2026:
Trains Short-Terminated / Short-Originated
Train No. 18005 Howrah–Jagdalpur Express, commencing its journey from Howrah from October 2 to 7, 2026, will beshort-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18006 Jagdalpur–Howrah Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur from October 4 to 9, 2026, will beshort-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18447 Bhubaneswar–Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Bhubaneswar from October 3 to 7, 2026, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18448 Jagdalpur–Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur from October 4 to 8, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.
Train No. 58501 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Visakhapatnam from October 4 to 7, 2026, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.
Train No. 58502 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Passenger Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Kirandul from October 4 to 7, 2026, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraputwill remain cancelled.
Passengers are advised to check the latest status of their respective trains before starting their journey and make travel plans accordingly, in view of the ongoing restoration work in the affected section.
