Bhubaneswar, July 18: The Odisha government will organise an Investors’ Roadshow in New Delhi in August to promote investment opportunities in the food processing sector, Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain said on Saturday.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will interact with investors during the event to showcase Odisha’s industrial potential and encourage investments in employment-generating sectors.

Swain said Odisha has attracted investments in textiles, renewable energy, chemicals, petrochemicals and new-age industries over the past two years. The government is now focusing on expanding the food processing sector while strengthening skill development to ensure local youth benefit from new job opportunities.

The initiative is part of the state’s vision to build a "Samruddha Odisha, Viksit Odisha" through industrial growth and employment generation
