Bhubaneswar, Oct 18: Odisha will experience cool nights from October 20 due to 2 to 4 degree Celcius drop in night temperature, said weather expert Surendranath Pasupalak.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), a cyclonic circulation persists over southeast Bay of Bengal & adjoining Arabian Sea.
It will brew into Low Pressure by October 20 in central Bay of Bengal. However, the IMD has not predicted about its possible impact, intensity and moving direction by now.
Besides, there no possibility of heavy rain in Odisha by October 23, it said adding that the state may experience light rain in some places.
On the other hand, Surendranath Pasupalak said that the coastal and its adjoining districts may experience light rain upto 10 mm between October 18 and 20.
The minimum temperature will drop from October 20 onwards bringing cool days ahead.
"Two cyclonic circulations have been formed over Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea on Tuesday. It is brewing in Arabian Sea and possible to turn into a cyclone which may move towrds Oman and Karachi," said Pasupalak.
