Bhubaneswar, Sept 16: A delegation of Odisha Sports Journalists Association (OSJA) called on Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhavan,Bhubaneswar on Monday.
The delegation led by senior journalist K Ravi and President OSJA Sandeep Mishra raised various key demands of the Association before the CM.
Majhi, during interaction asserted to look into fulfilling needs of the scribes as soon as possible.
Major demands of the Association include accreditation of recipients of the Odisha’s highest honour for sports journalism, the ‘Biju Patnaik Sports Award’ and establishing a Sports Media Hub on the Kalinga Stadium Campus.
Among others, OSJA working President Sambit Mohapatra, Vice-President Samikhya Patnaik and Tapan Swain, Secretary Suresh Swain, Joint Secretary Himanshupati Mishra, members Bimal Kumar Raul and Prasad Nanda were part of the delegation.
