Rourkela, Dec 20: Police have arrested three persons for allegedly abducting and raping a 15-year-old girl of Bisra in Odisha's Sundargarh district. The two main accused are aged 25 to 30 years, while the third is a 55-year-old fish vendor.

Sources said, the miscreants forcibly took the girl while she was roaming near Bisra Chowk in Rourkela. They kept her in a room for three days and allegedly gang-raped her.

Meanwhile, the girl managed to run away from the spot and informed her family about the incident. Subsequently, the family members registered a complaint at Uditnagar police station.

After receiving a complaint about the incident, police arrested the three accused.

Further investigation is underway.

The medical tests of the survivor and the accused will be conducted today.
