Balasore, Jan 9: A tragic accident claimed the life of a fifth-grade student at Badasa Primary School in Baliapal, Balasore district. The deceased has been identified as Janak Prahlad Dhal.
According to reports, around noon yesterday, a board being installed as part of the “Ama Odisha, Nabin Odisha” building project collapsed, falling on the student. He was critically injured and initially admitted to Baliapal Community Health Center. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was later transferred to Fakir Mohan Medical College in Balasore, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have registered the incident, and further investigation is underway.
