Bhubaneswar, Oct 18: Odisha Private Bus Owners Association has called for an indefinite strike from October 20 protesting against the LAccMI scheme.
Treasurer of the Odisha Private Bus Owners Association informed to media on Wednesday about the decision.
Earlier on September 27, the Bus owners’ association had called for a state-wide bus strike from October 10 in protest against the Odisha government's LAccMI scheme.
The decision to hold the bus strike was taken at a meeting of the association on that day.
However, the decision was called off on the 9th of September following a fruitful discussion with the government with the mediation of the transport department.
