Bhubaneswar, Sept 24: Pradeep Majhi, Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leader from Nabarangapur, has attributed the party's loss in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections 2024 to three main reasons.
The reasons are alliance speculation, internal infighting, and ineffective election management.
During a meeting with BJD party workers from Kalahandi and Nabarangpur, he explained that rumors of a potential alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) diminished the BJD's credibility among minority voters, resulting in a substantial loss of support in the last election.
Similarly, Majhi highlighted that infighting among party leaders further fragmented their efforts, preventing the BJD from presenting a cohesive front during the elections.
He also criticized the party's election management, pointing to inadequate strategic planning and execution as critical factors in the defeat.
He stressed the importance of improving coordination and developing stronger campaign strategies to regain voter trust.
