Rajnagar, Feb 5: The tourists to Bhitarkanika National Park in Kendrapara district of Odisha will soon have a five-star experience on the floating cruise with night stay facility.
Four Catamaran Cruises funded by the Integrated Coastal Zone Management Project (ICZMP) are set to sail on Bhitarkanika waterways soon with night stay facility, informed DFO Sudarshan Gopinath Yadav.
The packages will consist of an overnight stay along with full board meals, activities and cruising.
There will be two rooms in each cruise and each cruise can accommodate four tourists for a night stay.
Two new cruises have reached Gupti and other two will arrive soon. The Delhi based private company Heritage River Journies has been awarded the tender to run and manage the cuises in Bhitarkanika sanctury along with Mahanadi, Brahmani and Baitarani rivers.
According to the agreement, the company will give Rs 5.20 lakh annually to the Tourism Department of Odisha government. Besides, it will manage the employees and make other arrangements.
However, the price of different packages is yet to be finalised. The operating agency will decide it soon.
